We are recruiting a Sales Administrator

Responsible to: Business owner

Salary: £18,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

We are seeking to recruit a highly organised, hardworking, dependable Sales Administrator to assist with the smooth running of its office.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for clients, so good people and communication skills are essential.  

The following are the main duties associated with this role. This list of duties is not exhaustive or exclusive:

  • Handling of incoming calls from customers, suppliers, etc
  • Processing new clients/setting up client accounts
  • Maintaining and updating client and sales records
  • Processing orders, invoices, statements and delivery notes
  • Checking data accuracy
  • Resolving any customer queries
  • Liaising with Production Department regarding orders & deliveries
  • Communicating customer feedback to management


Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience of maintaining manual and computerised files
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to prioritise administrative tasks and work independently
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
